The business seeks to fill the following vacancies:

  • Sales Executives – 2 positions

    1 year renewable contract.
    · Sales Department.
    Summary:
    The holder of this position will be responsible for prospecting and developing new accounts with a focus on building long-term customer relationships and increasing sales revenue. The position will be evaluated on the holder’s ability to meet sales quotas and revenue targets.
    Principal Accountabilities:
    · Develop new business through lead identification and cold calling institutions and individuals who would be customers of Law Africa;
    · Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships and address queries, when they arise or escalate them for action;
    · Fill and submit tenders on newspapers and company websites and respond to quotation requests;
    · Follow up with accounts for invoicing, dispatch and delivery after customer orders have been processed and payment from the client based on the terms of the sale;
    · Update client files with receipts, invoices, and delivery notes and ensure that the accounts remain up to date at all times;
    · Keeping clients informed of new publications and publication in progress;
    · Constant market engagement to keep informed of market trends and changing consumer preferences
    Qualifications:
    · Bachelors’ degree in a business related course;
    · Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales;
    · Membership of a professional body an added advantage;
    · Proficient use of MS Office suites;

    Sales Assistants – 2 positions

    · 6 months temporary contract.
    · Sales Department.
    Summary:
    The holder of this position will be responsible for assisting in the process of prospecting and developing new accounts with a focus on building long-term customer relationships and increasing sales revenue. The job holder will be paired with a Sales Executive to train and develop them.

    Principal Accountabilities:
    · Assist in development of new business leads and pipelines;
    · Assist in filling and submitting documentation on tenders;
    · Follow up with accounts for invoicing, dispatch and delivery after customer orders have been processed and payment from the client based on the terms of the sale;
    · Update client files with receipts, invoices, and delivery notes and ensure that the accounts remain up to date at all times;
    · Keeping clients informed of new publications and publication in progress.
    Qualifications:
    · Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
    · Demonstrable experience in research, data collection and synthesis;
    · Proficiency in MS Office suites

    I.T Assistant – 1 position

    · 6 months temporary contract.
    · Operations Department.
    Summary:
    The holder of this position will be responsible for supporting system users to enable them contribute to company objective.
    Principal Accountabilities:
    · Managing user problems by sorting and logging user calls in User support register;
    · Troubleshooting user issues;
    · Supporting operationalization of the company’s digital platform;
    · Generating and update the IT assets register;
    · Assisting vendors during preventive maintenance.
    · Developing downloadable PDF catalogues for both print and electronic products complete with graphics for ease of reference and appeal. · Search Engine Optimization encouraging frequent visits on the Company’s social pages.
    · Managing the company’s social media platform with guidance from the IT Officer
    · Styling and uploading cases under the IT Officer supervision.
    · Ensuring workstations are powered down and covered after user
    · Maintaining an up to date inventory of computer hardware including model, serial numbers and use.
    · Cleaning servicing and backup of all equipment monthly.
    Qualifications:
    · Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
    · Demonstrable experience in research, data collection and synthesis;

    Executive Assistant – 1 position

    · 2 year fixed term contract.
    · Executive Department.
    Summary:
    The role holder will work in partnership with the Managing Director by facilitating and supporting the strategic business planning process, continuous re-engineering of business and service delivery across the business by coordinating efforts of leadership and business units to link strategies of individual units to those of the broader organization. The role holder will also assist in running business research.
    Principal Accountabilities:
    · Collates, interrogates, integrates and packages inputs to support the Managing Director in annual business planning cycle and other key business reporting requirements;
    · Generate exceptional analytics to generate insights that drive decision-making;
    · Support with generating of ideas that constructively challenge, input and maximize value in key business areas and drive exceptional business performance;
    · Come up with ideas and strategies to adopt and deploy a range of influencing styles to build positive relationships between the organization and its networks;
    · Seek and anticipate internal and external future opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement facing the business.

    Accounts Assistants – 2 positions

    · Duration: 6 months Temporary Contract.
    · Department: Finance & Operations.
    · Reporting line: Accountant.
    Summary:
    The role holder will work in partnership with the Accountant to manage key activities in the accounting function.
    Principal Accountabilities:
    · Processing of sales and purchase transactions.
    · Ensure maintenance of records supporting the company’s sales and expenditure.
    · Assist in maintain records of the company’s inventory and all movements.
    · Assist in maintain statements and reconciliation files (customers, suppliers, banks).
    · Any other activities as may be assigned by the accountant.
    Qualifications:
    · Bachelor’s degree in a business field;
    · Pursuing accounting certification (CPA/ACCA);
    · 1-2 years relevant accounting experience;
    · Proficiency in MS Office suite;
    · Working knowledge of accounting software.
