Description
This text is a pioneering work on revenue law in Uganda
and has been in use for over 16 years. It was spurred by the
creation of the Uganda Revenue Authority in 1991, when
interest in revenue issues and tax paying culture among
Ugandans was revived. The importance of an appreciation
of revenue law, which is the basis of taxation, is, therefore,
obvious.
Dr. Bakibinga is a Professor of Commercial Law and Head
of Department - Commercial Law at Makerere University,
Uganda. He has taught Revenue Law for two decades
variously in Makerere University and Uganda Christian
University. |
